Al Anderson
President
Al Anderson is the President of ACCOUNTability Plus, LLC, a global leader in accounting and assurance advancement. He is the Founder of A&A Leaders Leagues, a collaboration of leaders redefining A&A for the future. He is a frequent speaker and educator who works directly with auditors and firms to transform their A&A services. Over his career spanning more than three decades, Al worked from staff auditor to Senior Vice President at the AICPA before creating ACCOUNTability Plus, LLC. He continues to participate in “Auditing in the Future” initiatives and is committed to his vision of redefining A&A.
Al was named one of Accounting Today's 2025 Top 100 Most Influential People. He has been named a Top 100 Influential People every year since 2017.
Tyler Anderson, CPA
Partner and Director of A&A Innovation
Tyler Anderson is a Certified Public Accountant and consultant known for challenging the status quo in audit and assurance. Guided by the belief that “it doesn’t have to be this way,” Tyler helps firms reimagine their workflows, tools, and methodologies to deliver more efficient, accurate, and forward-thinking client service.
At ACCOUNTability Plus, LLC, Tyler partners with A&A firm leaders to modernize audit practices. His work focuses on:

Military Leadership: In parallel with his civilian career, Tyler has served in the Minnesota Army National Guard since 2003 and currently holds the rank of Major. His military experience spans domestic crisis response and overseas deployments, including leadership roles during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Neptune Solace (Security Officer in Charge on the novel Gaza pier in 2024). He currently serves as S3, Operations, 1-151 Field Artillery. Tyler’s military background informs his approach to leadership, operational planning, and team development—skills he brings to every client engagement.
Corey Schmidt, CPA
Partner and Director of A&A Innovation
Corey Schmidt, CPA, joined ACCOUNTability Plus, LLC with a decade of prior public accounting experience, focused on providing A&A services to clients in a variety of industries.
Corey’s role at ACCOUNTability Plus, LLC is concentrated on working with A&A leaders to help firms challenge and redesign their current approach to be more provocative, more efficient and prepare them for auditing in the future. Other areas of focus include:
